Functioning Cyanide Non Competitively Binds Cytochrome Oxidase Part Prevents

Cyanide functions as a non-competitive inhibitor of cytochrome oxidase in the electron transport chain. By binding to this enzyme, it prevents electron transfer to the final acceptor (oxygen), thereby stopping ATP production via aerobic respiration.

Back non-competitively binds to cytochrome oxidase (part of ETC), prevents it from passing electrons to final acceptor (oxygen), ATP is not produced via aerobic respiration
