Relenza Neuraminidase Docking Protein Functioning Virions Released Infected

Relenza functions by competitively binding to neuraminidase, an enzyme that virions use to cleave a docking protein and release from infected cells. By preventing this cleavage, Relenza stops the spread of influenza.

El Relenza funciona al unirse competitivamente a la neuraminidasa, una enzima que los viriones usan para escindir una proteína de acoplamiento y liberarse de las células infectadas. Al prevenir esta escisión, Relenza detiene la propagación de la influenza.
