Mycophenolate is an inhibitor of guanosine monophosphate synthesis acting as a cytotoxic immunosuppressive drug, killing rapidly dividing cells including lymphocytes proliferating in response to antigen.
Mycophenolaat is een remmer van de synthese van guanosinemonofosfaat die werkt als een cytotoxisch immunosuppressief geneesmiddel. Het doodt snel delende cellen, waaronder lymfocyten die prolifereren als reactie op antigenen.
