CD40 ligand deficiency is an immunodeficiency where little or no IgG, IgE, or IgA is produced, and IgM responses are also deficient due to a defect in CD40L preventing class switching.

It is due to a defect in the gene encoding CD40L, which prevents class switching from occurring. Also known as X-linked hyper IgM syndrome
