TSC is a protein complex that acts as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for Rheb in its non-phosphorylated state; this complex is inactivated when phosphorylated by Akt.
TSC is een proteïnecomplex dat fungeert als GTPase-activerend proteïne (GAP) voor Rheb in zijn niet-gefosforyleerde toestand. Dit proteïnecomplex wordt geïnactiveerd wanneer het gepyfosforyleerd wordt door Akt.
