Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are a series of protein kinases that become phosphorylated and activated on cellular stimulation by a variety of ligands, and lead to new gene expression by phosphorylating key transcription factors. MAPKs are part of many signaling pathways, especially those leading to cell proliferation, and have different names in different organisms.
Las cinasas de proteínas activadas por mitógenos (MAPKs) son una serie de quinasas de proteínas que se fosforilan y activan ante la estimulación celular por una variedad de ligandos, y conducen a la nueva expresión génica al fosforilar factores de transcripción clave.
