Dopamine Parkinson's Movement Tremor Symptoms Shuffling Gait Postural

Parkinson's symptoms:

shuffling gait - postural form
Cogwheel rigidity - muscle tension halts movement during limb manipulation
masklike facies - static facial features, open mouth, staring eyes
pill-rolling tremor - flexing/extending the fingers while moving the thumb back/forth
resting tremor - nonmoving muscular tremor 
bradykinesia - slow movement

Substantia Nigra - layer of cell that produce dopamine
Basal ganglia - initiates & terminates movements; sustaining repetivie motor tasks & smoothening of motions
L-Dopa - converted to dopamine once in the brain; replaces dopamine lost due to Parkinson's 
Depression & Dementia are both common in parkinson's
