Cells Secrete Types Glands Present Mucosa Stomach Mucous

The stomach's mucosa houses mucous neck cells, chief cells that secrete pepsinogen, and parietal cells that secrete HCl and intrinsic factor.

The gastric mucosa contains mucous neck cells, peptic/chief cells (secreting pepsinogen), and parietal/oxyntic cells (secreting HCl and Castle's intrinsic factor).
