Phase Diakinesis Marked Terminalisation Chiasmata End Nucleolus Disappear

The diakinesis phase is marked by the terminalization of chiasmata. By the end of this phase, the nucleolus disappears and the nuclear envelope breaks down, marking the transition to metaphase I.
