Bone Cells Secrete Calcium Types Osteogenic Stem Osteocytes

Front Types of bone cells
Back Osteogenic cells: Stem cells

OSTEOCYTES: normal
(secrete enzymes, maintain bone mineral content, regulate release of calcium into blood)

OSTEOBLASTS: bone-forming cslls
(secrete unmineralized ground substance ie bone matrix, and are converted into osteocytes)

OSTEOCLASTS: bone-destroying cells
(demineralize bones, deposit calcium and phosphate into blood, responsible for *growth and repair*).
