B Eat Fallacy Inevitability Unmarried Condition John I

The fallacy of necessity attributes unwarranted inevitability to a conclusion, derived from the inevitability of its premises.

Fallacy Fallacy of necessity
Definition and Examples Fallacy where a degree of unwarranted inevitability is placed in the conclusion based on the inevitability of its premises.

a) Bachelors are necessarily unmarried.
b) John is a bachelor.
Therefore, c) John cannot marry.

The condition a) appears to be a tautology and therefore true. The condition b) is a statement of fact about John which makes him subject to a); that is, b) declares John a bachelor, and a) states that all bachelors are unmarried.

Ex:
a) Vegetarians neccesarily cannot eat meat.
b) You are a vegetarian
c) Therefore, you can not eat meat

(obviously I could eat whatever I want)
