To fight procrastination, increase a task's meaning by connecting it to things you intrinsically value. This creates a chain where the task's purpose extends to your meaningful goals.
An effective strategy to combat procrastination is to increase a task's perceived meaning by "chaining" it to intriniscally meaningful goals or values.
Front | One way to beat procrastination is to increase how much meaning you derive from task (how much you care about it for its own sake). How does one increase this? |

Back | You should chain the thing you are doing (want to do) to the things that have intrinsic meaning to you. ex: you read the book so you can pass the test so you can get the grade so you can get the job you want and have a fulfilling career. Breaking the chain leaves a task feeling meaningless. |
