Antibodies, which are Y-shaped glycoproteins, bind to specific antigens on pathogens or toxins to neutralize them. Composed of polypeptide chains, they form antigen-antibody complexes and have a hinge region providing flexibility to bind multiple antigens.
Los anticuerpos, que son glicoproteínas en forma de Y, se unen a antígenos específicos en patógenos o toxinas para neutralizarlos. Compuestos por cadenas de polipéptidos, forman complejos antígeno-anticuerpo y poseen una región bisagra que proporciona flexibilidad para unirse a múltiples antígenos.
