The blinking reflex occurs when the cornea is stimulated (corneal reflex) or due to loud sounds/bright light (optical reflex), protecting the cornea, lens, and retina from damage.
El reflejo de parpadeo ocurre cuando la córnea es estimulada (reflejo corneal) o por sonidos fuertes/luz brillante (reflejo óptico), protegiendo la córnea, el cristalino y la retina del daño.
