Glucose Blood Higher Ways Concentration Decreases Respiration Required

Front What are the two ways in which blood glucose concentration decreases?
Back

1. Respiration - Glucose is required for respiration. The higher the level of physical activity, the higher the demand for glucose.

2. Glycogenesis - The production of glycogen. When blood glucose concentrations are too high, excess glucose taken in through the diet is converted into glycogen which is stored in the liver.
