And We did not find for most of them any covenant;[389] but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient. وَمَا وَجَدْنَا لِأَكْثَرِهِم مِّنْ عَهْدٍ وَإِن وَجَدْنَآ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَفَٰسِقِينَ 102

Accepted Answer

[389] i.e., they were found to be unfaithful and negligent of Allāh's covenant. al-A`raf Part 09

Translation	And We did not find for most of them any covenant;[389] but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient.
