Blood Kidney Effects Pressure Failure Urine Due Build
Front |
causes of kidney failure and effects explained, effects of kidney failure |
Back |
- Can be due to kidney infection (podocytes/tubules damaged), inc blood pressure (damages epithelial tissue/basement membrane) and genetic conditions
- Infection/high blood pressure effects
- protein in urine - basement membrane/podocytes damaged and cant filter LPP, which passes into filtrate and into urine
- blood in urine - due to same disabled filtering process
- Effects of kidney failure
- concs of mineral ions/urea build up in body so;
- loss of electrolyte balance - lack of secretion of XS Na+, K+ and Cl- result in osmotic imbalances in tissues
- build up of urea in blood - XS urea in blood can poison cells
- high blood pressure - blood pressure increases which can lead to diseases
