Dialysis Fluid Peritoneal Inside Body Peritoneum Natural Membranes

Peritoneal dialysis uses the peritoneum (the abdomen lining) as a natural dialysis membrane. Dialysis fluid is introduced into the abdomen via a catheter, allowing waste products and excess minerals to pass from the blood into the fluid before it is removed and replaced.
